Looking out windows is one of those amazing things that makes you lose track of time. From my window I can see trees bushes and flowers below and the calm, blue water in the pool. It's like I'm in a trance, thinking of all the wonderful things in nature and utterly, completely awed. My whole day is packed with so much technology [computers, T.V, iPod] it just feels so good to slow down a bit and absorb things. Of course there's nothing better than having a cup of cocoa to drink whilst you do your 'absorbing' as I call it.
Then there's the thing about watching it rain. Watching as every single thing glistens with droplets of rain. First of all there's that earthy smell of wet mud which makes my day and then there's just standing there listening to the sound of rain. Rain, basically, tunes all of our senses. All there is to rain is science, but just for a second, it makes you wonder - Is there something much greater, much more powerful than us? How can something so beautiful have such a simple explanation?
Wealth, luxury, property, status....Well, it doesn't really count in the end, does it? Rain is so amazing, it's like Nutella falling from the sky.
